We are so glad that you have decided to check us out at Crossroads Community Church!
We understand that it can often take more than one visit to decide if you’d like to call Crossroads your home church.
That is why we invite all of our guests to visit three times to get a real sense of what being a part of the Crossroads Family is all about.
what to expect

WHERE AND WHEN
Crossroads meets Sunday Mornings at 9:45am.
We are located at 410 SE Main Street, Grimes, Iowa.
Parking is located on the North side of the building
as well as along Main street. You will be greeted at
the North Entrance of the building.
WHAT TO WEAR
Here at Crossroads you will find attire of all kinds.
The majority of members here wear casual to
business casual dress, but we encourage you to
wear whatever you are comfortable in!
INITIAL GREETING
As you enter the building on the North side you
will be greeted by a friendly member of our
Hospitality Team. If you're new, these are
the people you will talk with to learn where the bathrooms are, where to sign kids into Sunday
School, or whatever questions you may have.
WORSHIP
Our service will start with 2 or 3 familiar,
contemporary songs that people of all ages can
enjoy. The lyrics will be up on two screens, so feel
free to stand with us to worship together. At the
end of service we will stand again together to finish
off the morning with 2 or 3 more songs of praise.
THE MESSAGE
After the first worship session, announcements
and dismissal of children to Children's Church.
Our pastor, Jason Friesen, will present the
message. The message is approximately 45
minutes long and we typically preach through
books of the Bible from the NIV. We are a
biblically-measured church, striving to always
preach truth from God's word.
COMMUNION
Once a month we offer the option to take
communion. All are welcome to participate,
though participation is never required.
A PLACE FOR YOUR CHILDREN
We offer a safe and caring nursery environment
for children birth to 3 years of age. Crossroads
Kids offers age divided classes for pre-K through
5th grade during the worship service. Leave plenty
of time to register your kids at kids check-in
when you arrive on Sunday.

OTHER MINISTRIES
Our student ministry meets on Wednesday
evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm. Community Groups,
Men's, and Women's Ministry meet at various
times during the week.
