our story

Crossroads began groundwork in the spring of 2003 by conducting a door to door opinion poll assessing community needs. Then, in an effort to serve and get better acquainted with the community, the church leadership, with the help of mission teams, local residents and our sponsor church, Grace West, completed a variety of community projects and events.  Crossroads began meeting weekly for Sunday Worship at the Dallas Center- Grimes High School on August 22, 2004.

Since that time, Crossroads has continued to invest in the community of Grimes and the surrounding areas.  We want Grimes to be a place where Jesus Christ is Lord.  We have made it our mission to come alongside other churches in our community to collaborate in this mission, we invest in staff that are bi-vocational for the purpose of reaching our community, (i.e. driving bus for the school system, working at the fire department), and we are committed to serving our local community by helping those who are poor and hurting.

In June 2009, we had the opportunity to partner with the city of Grimes in renovating the Grimes Community Complex.  In November of the same year, we began meeting at our current location, which is called the banquet hall. Our mission hasn't changed, and God is still writing our story! We'd love for you to come be a part of it.
